fraser: good shout, and lizzie: totally agree. imagine this and 'Graphic Design, Now in Production' provide a telling comparison. but that's pure speculation on my part, having been to neither. not that that seemingly stops me offering an opinion on the matter.

On this topic - I just went to the Design Museum in London for the 'Designs of 2011' and Terence Conran exhibition.

There were a few nice projects in the show but overall it felt really shoddy, everything displayed on big wooden cylinders... including websites? And seeing as it's international, I have NO idea how they came to these nominations.

I wish I'd spent my 11 quid in the gift-shop, I could be the proud owner of "Life's A Pitch: How to sell yourself and your brilliant ideas"

Great link...It'd be interesting to see if we could potentially explore a new format for the first Skypark degree show.

Just finished reading form of the book book last night. Really good. I find the book itself to be one of the best designed I've read in terms of usability too.

Did you also notice the striking resemblance to the cover of 'what is a designer' in terms of colour/paper?
