A Genius and Altermodern part 3: Is the internet changing the way our brains work?















The jury’s out, but probably not, at least not in the way some people suppose, (and at this point I should acknowledge the complete unreliability of the sources I’m looking at). Thinking about the radical accelerating change in the way we source and process information, and how that may relate to some of the previously discussed facets of the Altermodern, I was reminded of the writing of visionary genius and nice man john chris jones and his seminal ‘work’ called the internet and everyone, a book/web-artifact which is sadly out of print and no longer available from the publisher/author, but fragments of which can be found on the aforementioned internet.
