A good overview of the current Walker Arts Centre exhibition, ‘Graphic Design: Now in Production’, can be found on the Eye blog. Possibly functions as an antidote to this kind of polarised thinking, and interesting to see the ‘both/and‘ pluralist outlook in mainstream design discussions.

  • by me, or by the not-quite-all-seeing Eye? I did consider posting something about the glasgow-connection, but thought that while that type of cronyism and nepotism might wash for the likes of grafik and creative review, the vis com blog was above such things… however, the floors now open for a lengthy ‘my phone calls with A.B.’ type post…

  • I meant by Eye, but even this short description is better than the one from FOX news who called it “fun, poppy and graphic”… bleurg

On another note, who else can we reduce to an acronym…. JC, R2D2, MJ

  • We will publish a longer version of this review by Steven McCarthy in Eye 82 (Winter).

The caption for the image you’re using (which also leads our blog post) is:
