Just putting this, very much under construction, project out there to hopefully get some more invitations to other archives. If you have lots of videos, or suggestions of collections, please let me know.

    this looks great lizzie. you’re very welcome to the vhs showreel from my degree show way back in 2003 when putting it on vhs seemed like the most practical thing to do. this is not technically a collection as it is only one video, singular, and i believe you need at least two to have a collection, though could add my best of father ted and bit of fry and laurie videos, thus rounding it up to a collection (of 3). It also contains some very amateurish flash animations, which i somehow managed to get out of flash and back onto vhs.

    more seriously though, wonder if any of glasgows theatres might have some good archives; tron, citizens theatre, arches etc. have some contacts there if you’re looking for more. Tv graphics companies like ISO might also have a tape archive from the old days which you could access…

    Neil McGuire – Degree Show showreel 2003, bring it in!

    I’ve fixed the site up a bit and added some more examples, although it might be a bit dodgy in firefox…

    I’ve been in touch with some thespians without much luck but theatres sound like a good idea, amateur dramatics too.
